I purchased the preceding model of these speakers AW871 - They performed as expected for nearly two years, then the transmitter unit just quit. The unit is out of warranty now. I contacted AR customer service, they are now owned by Audiovox (that should be a clue). The advise was sorry, no repair available, no parts available. "Buy a new unit" and offered me a link to their online sales page. Why would I replace crap with crap? Get more detail about Acoustic Research AW877 900 Mhz Indoor Wireless Speakers (Black).
