This Yamaha sound bar system, although it doesn't have that true 5 speaker surround sound, it is the next best thing. I honestly have never heard any sound bar system with that true 360 degree surround sound, even the more expensive ones. However, this is a great product and is a wonderful and very noticable improvement over the tinny sound that those terrible flat screen TV speakers have. Nice rich sound with decent bass from the subwoofer and the volume adjusts pretty high. A plus that it has an ipod dock. Very stylish looking with a nice piano black finish that complements my 40 inch Samsung TV. Great choice when you don't want to spend a ton of money, don't want all those unsightly wires around your room or just don't have the ideal room set up to place back speakers.
