This sony system is just what our living room needed. My wife and I were going for a minimalistic look. The fact that the micro speakers are sooooooo small allows you to place them anywhere to give the illusion that you dont have a surround sound system but when you turn it on there is no mistaking the power of this Sony !! The reciever/subwoofer/mid-range speaker unit is about the size of a full sized desktop computer tower. It took a some fine tuning in the set up menu to get the sound just right for our room shape. There are many options in the menu to adjust the sound perfectly for your ears. Once the set up is done sit back and enjoy the heart thumping bass and crisp clean mid and treble. It has 3 HDMI inputs and you control which input though the remote. It comes with an Ipod Dock free. No tv display but it does have a small display on the top of the reciever/subwoofer/mid-range speaker unit. There is the S-Air wireless surround speaker opition with the purchase of extra hardware. Goes perfect with our flat screen mounted to the wall. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. Buy this system and you will not be disappointed! Amazon has a it priced for a steal.
