This is my second posting of this review. I believe Amazon deleted my first review for reasons beyond me. However, I bought the PT-01 usb to archive my vast vinyl collection. It worked great at first, but then the pitch began to fluctuate, which is very noticeable when sustained chords are played in a song. This is also disastrous for any djs archiving their vinyl, because the bpm's must stay constant for mixing. I took my unit in for repair and they replaced the belt drive. It worked great after that....for about two months and then the same thing happened. It appears that the belts being supplied for these turntables are of inferior quality and wear with age. Unacceptable. The other features on this unit are useless. I don't really see a need for a built-in speaker, nor battery-powered capabilities. I don't imagine anyone will be taking these to the beach. That said, save your money until a better usb turntable comes out on the market.Get more detail about Numark PT01USB Turntable.
